UCCA榮幸地邀請到喻紅作為此次“由……策劃”系列的策展人。她所選擇的兩位富于冒險精神的年輕女藝術(shù)家透過鮮有的獨特視角描繪了當(dāng)下世界中日常的偶然。潘琳和苑瑗的作品精巧地融合了迷人的材料，展現(xiàn)出當(dāng)代中國藝術(shù)進(jìn)程中年輕一代的審美。

UCCA is honored to host Yu Hong for this edition of the CuratedBy Series. She has picked two aspiring young female artists who articulate a rare feminine perspective on the happenstance of today's world. Both Yuan Yuan and Pan Lin integrate a fascinating use of material with a delicacy of production to express the youngest underpinnings of the emerging contemporary Chinese art aesthetic.

意大利佛羅倫薩Popoli國際電影節(jié)50周年紀(jì)念之際，在京舉辦中國·意大利國際影像紀(jì)錄論壇，并特別在UCCA舉行紀(jì)錄片經(jīng)典單元回顧《重返經(jīng)典：紀(jì)錄片創(chuàng)作七年(1958-1965)》，八部改寫紀(jì)錄片影史創(chuàng)作將首次與國內(nèi)觀眾見面，其中包括美國直接電影重要代表人物梅索斯兄弟關(guān)于小說家杜魯門·卡波特和影星馬龍·白蘭度的紀(jì)錄片《杜魯門的故事》和《相遇馬龍·白蘭度》；首次在紀(jì)錄片中使用同期音技術(shù)和廣角拍攝的《雪鞋》；英國六十年代最重要的紀(jì)錄倫敦滑鐵盧車站的短片《終點站》；詩性紀(jì)錄片代表作《白色的鈴鐺》等。

In honor of Popoli Documentary Film Festival’s Fiftieth anniversary, the China Italian International Image Documentary Forum opens in Beijing with a special retrospective program The Feeling of Being There: Seven Years of Documentary Cinema (1958-1965) only at UCCA, presenting eight films that changed documentary-making history: the Maysles Brothers ’With Love from Truman’ and ‘Meet Marlon Brando’, as well as ‘Terminus’, the most famous English short film of the Sixties.

法國舞蹈電影資料館擁有400部舞蹈電影及2000多部舞蹈視頻，是一個藏品豐富，獨一無二資料庫。它也是唯一一家向國外推廣藏品的國際機(jī)構(gòu)。5月,資料館聯(lián)合UCCA放映數(shù)十部珍貴的來自紐約和歐洲的先鋒派的館藏作品，其中包括著名先鋒派舞蹈大師摩斯·肯寧漢(Merce Cunningham)的抽象舞作品和歐洲德國表現(xiàn)主義代表作品。資料館館長帕特里克·本薩爾先生也將出席5月6日晚開幕放映，并介紹他導(dǎo)演的記錄美國后現(xiàn)代舞大師露辛達(dá)·查爾斯的影片《露辛達(dá)·查爾斯》。

La Cinémathèque de la Danse, based in Paris, is a unique archive of all movement-related iconography from the early twentieth century to the present day. In collaboration with UCCA, they will show Avant-garde dance films created by choreographer like Merce Cunningham and Martha Graham, from New York to Europe; and the director of La Cinémathèque de la Danse Patrick Bensard will introduce theopening session on May 6th with his own film Lucinda Childs.
