紅門畫廊將在5月下旬舉行聯(lián)展：《個(gè)性——來自北京以外的新藝術(shù)》，本次展覽將從5月23日開始至6月30日結(jié)束。本次展覽將是一個(gè)以來自北京以外多個(gè)不同地區(qū)的藝術(shù)新秀為特色的聯(lián)展。參展作品的創(chuàng)作媒介也很廣泛，其中包括當(dāng)代水墨，新媒體, 影像，油畫和拼貼。
參展藝術(shù)家中的大多數(shù)對(duì)北京的藝術(shù)環(huán)境都比較陌生。對(duì)他們中的大多數(shù)人來說，這將是他們首次參與比較重要的展覽。紅門畫廊希望通過這些具有特色的藝術(shù)家及他們的作品來展示中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)新生代的創(chuàng)作方向。
來自貴州的張露露主要進(jìn)行油畫創(chuàng)作，現(xiàn)在仍是四川美院的一名學(xué)生。她用富有韻律的簡(jiǎn)約風(fēng)格和令人驚訝的生動(dòng)而活潑的色調(diào)創(chuàng)造著充滿濃烈心理景象的世界。來自重慶的郝量，將精湛的傳統(tǒng)國(guó)畫水墨技巧與宋代肖像繪畫和都鐸與伊麗莎白時(shí)期的繪畫技巧混合在一起，帶給觀者令人驚奇的視覺感受。
參展的其他藝術(shù)家還包括陳皎，唐雪婷以及將其表演藝術(shù)作品展示于LED屏幕的上海藝術(shù)家群體-六島。近期個(gè)展獲得巨大成功的重慶新生代藝術(shù)家解國(guó)平，也將為本次聯(lián)展帶來他的作品。
《個(gè)性——來自北京以外的新藝術(shù)》將于2009年5月23日至6月30日在東便門角樓紅門畫廊舉行。
BEIJING May 8, 2009—Red Gate Gallery will run the show, Individual: New Art from Beyond Beijing until the end of June. The exhibition is a group show featuring new artists from diverse regions of China outside the capital. The works also span a wide range of media including contemporary ink, LED, video, oil painting, and collage.
Most of the artists are completely new to the Beijing scene. For many, this is their first major exhibition. Red Gate Gallery is featuring these artists with the hope of demonstrating the direction of a new generation of Chinese contemporary artists.
Zhang Lulu, originally from Guizhou, is still a student at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and works primarily with oil paint. She creates psychologically intense genre scenes of the world around her with lyrical simplicity and a strikingly vivid palette. Hao Liang, from Chongqing, blends his technical virtuosity in Chinese ink with a macabre vision that intermingles Song Dynasty portraiture with Tudor and Elizabethan imagery.
Other artists include Chen Jiao, Tang Xueting and a Shanghai artists’ collective, Liu Dao that animates their performance art pieces in LED display. Xie Guoping, whose recent solo exhibition saw tremendous success and acclaim, will also be contributing work to Individual.
The show runs from May 23 to June 30 2009 at the Dongbianmen Watchtower.
